Not sure if the above is meant to be a serious point, but it's definitely correct, you can certainly post off 3 letters in a much shorter time than you could pay the loan off, and it only costs you three stamps - whether it would actually get you anywhere is an entirely different matter.

I'm not aware of any Court cases where this FOTL type nonsense has worked.
