Global radio 2.4 clause

Hi

I recently won a competition with Capital FM and today I received a letter stating, "As you've won a prize valued at £500 or greater I'm afraid neither you, nor your family members, can enter any further competitions for six months from the closing date, as per clause 2.4 of Global radio's general competition terms and conditions."

Does this mean I can't enter competitions with just Capital or is it other radio stations too?

It means you can't enter any of their competitions - or any competitions that are part of the same group as Capital FM (Communicorp UK)

Excludes you from comps from Heart, Capital, Capital XTRA, Classic FM, Smooth, LBC, Radio X and Gold - as far as I know they are all run by Global/Communicorp UK

They changed their T&C's a while ago and increased the limit to £1,000 and over or more than one win (any value) in 6 months - if your prize was worth less than £1,000 and it's your only win with them in the last 6 months you should query it with them.

(Yes it stops you entering all their competitions)

So that we can ensure the fairness of our competitions, we reserve the right to prevent you, at our absolute discretion, from entering any of our Competitions for a period of six months if you have either (i) won a Prize valued at £1,000 or greater or (ii) won more than one Prize during the previous six months. If we choose to exercise this right we will notify you in writing.

It was indeed worth more than £1000 so I can't complain. Thanks for the info everyone
