Mortgage company same as credit card

Afternoon all,
I've had an offer accepted on a property  so I'm about to take the plunge and apply for a mortgage.
My AIP is with Halifax but I'm not necessarily forced to take my mortgage with them.
I also have a credit card with Halifax for just over 2 years. I started with a credit limit of £3500 but Halifax increased this to £4500, then £5500 off their own back. The account has good repayment history and a balance of £350.
By going with Halifax, would the fact I have another account with them go for or against my application for a mortgage?
My credit score is 466 out of 600 with Experian which is just on the border of good and excellent. I want to give myself the best possible chance of this mortgage being accepted.
Many thanks.

I don't think the fact you have another account with them matters.
I've been with Halifax for 10 years & had various accounts with them (current/reward/saving/mortgage) and just had a new mortgage accepted by them with no problems.0
