    MM yes, it's the carb addiction and you're getting withdrawal symptoms. You need to go cold turkey and after 3 days of zero carbs or sugar that goes.
    I'm not diabetic but I am famous for eating sweeties lol - and I stopped. I thought it was maybe making my ME worse so I now eat the same diet as my type 2 hubby.
    The first 3/4 days were murder, then after that I felt more normal and now I still get cravings for sugar but ignore them.

    These are 2 sites you will find invaluable in your quest to lose weight in this one http://www.myfitnesspal.com you can type in any food even from the store bought and it will give you all the nutrition information you need! Also I am not sure if you or your husband are diabetic but this site http://www.diabetes.co.uk has load of recipes for LCHF meals even if you are not loads of advice on losing weight check out the forums good luck

    Hey people. Not been on forums for a week or so due to exams but thanks for the advice! I've just got weighed and another 4lb off even though I've been a bit naughty and had some carbs. It was all a matter of bad meal planning and a rushed shop and 9 exams to sit in the space of a week so I'm back on track as of Friday!

    We are going to try and go to Aldi and Lidl this week to see if we can save some money
