Light at the end of the tunnel.......

Just realised that I only have 11 more payments to make on my DMP. I've been on here a long time and my story is buried somewhere. An overview:

Around 10 years I get into dreadful debt after leaving University owing somewhere in the region of £80,000. I set up a DMP which would have initially cleared the debt off in 88 years. Most of my 12 or so creditors were great and all but two have been paid off now.
One of them took me to court for a CCJ 10 years ago and I pay £5.50 a month to them. The other creditor gets £602 even though they initially agreed to £47. Bad decision on the CCJ company if you ask me. Regardless, after 3 more payments I am left with only the CCJ company left and they'll finally be getting a decent amount until that is gone in the new year.

Believe me, even with debts like that YOU can do it! I kept my house, fed and clothed two children.... it's hard but you'll get there.
