Please can anyone advise us, Once ccj has dropped off your credit file, how long does it take for it to go off your credit history?
We had a ccj almost 6 years ago and want to get a mortgage soon and I was hoping to apply the month after the ccj falls off? But is this unrealistic.
We fully paid the ccj off, have had no debts since.
We've had a credit card since to rebuild our credit history and out the odd thing and paid it in full each month.
We have a 10% deposit
We are going through a broker but don't want to apply if it's too early.
Any advice appreciated.
If it's a case of ask the broker , I will , but I was trying to do the right thing and wanting to plan.

In the 73rd month after it was dated, it falls off of your file.
You can therefore apply the month after the six year period.I am a Mortgage Broker
