2 Property Owners Thinking of Moving in Together

Hello all, got a question or two and would like some advice if possible.
Me and my gf both bought our own places about 12 months ago, both are new builds. My place is a 2 bed freehold flat which is worth around £120k, and my girlfriends place is a 2 bed terrace worth about the same if not a little bit more.
We've been together for just over 6 years now and would like to get a place of our own. We're wondering what the best way to go about it would be given our seperate mortgage situations. Basically, would be be better off moving in to 1 of the existing properties and renting out the other, or selling both and buying somewhere bigger? My girlfriends mortgage is currently interest only whereas mine is for the most part repayment only. Which scenario would leave us better off financially and allow us to lead a more comfortable lifestyle (i know we wont be 'well off', i just mean so we wont have to count the pennies as much!)?
Any advice is much appreciated
Thanks!

Move in one and rent the other for a trial to see if you get on well living under the same roof.
Same thing with me but i rent my house out and we live in a joint owned property.0 -
You could rent both and buy somewhere for yourselvesI like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)0
