Hey guys,
Looking to buy a new matress. King size, pocket sprung. Not fond on memory foam as I get hot at night. Will be for me and the Mrs and looking to spend round £300. Open to buying online as from what I've read most main retailers aren't great for value.
Any info would be very much appreciated! Thank you!

I got mine from Amazon for £218 that was retailing generally around £350 - £450 !! You need to investigate what you want as different retailers have the same mattress under different names.0

I got mine from Ikea over 10 years ago, still fine and with just as much support, it was I think around £350 for a double, it was a middle of the range model- not the most expensive or the cheapest they had to offer. No idea what the prices are now but do remember looking not long ago at the prices in Ikea online and they actually seemed cheaper.0

Any reputable online places? And what brands would you consider to be of high quality? Going to try out a few shops today. Thanks0

Been looking at John Ryan - origins pocket reflex 1500. Any feedback on this particular model? Ta0

I hadn't compared prices, there are so many the OP may wish to single them out themselves and then make a comparison.
John Lewis will take a mattress back if you try it and don't like it. Can't see Amazon doing that. As for being the same, one of them must have the sizings wrong as they aren't identical, nor do they have the same spring count.0 -
I reccomend Silentnight Pocket sprung ones, I recent;y got one from their site: https://shop.silentnight.co.uk/all-mattresses/pocket-spring-mattresses/comfort-pocket-1000-mattress.html it is relatively cheap, so comfy and guaranteed for 5 yearsMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE
