Arrangement Fee and Maximum Borrowing

Is the arrangement fee included in the maximum amount you can borrow? Or can I borrow my max plus arrangement fee?

So if the max I can borrow is £100,000 can I add the £1495 arrangement fee on top? So my mortgage would be £101,495?

I believe it would vary from lender to lender, in most cases though the max borrowing would include the fee as you will have to pay that back plus interest

It was like this for me. Max borrowing plus the arrangement fee. So the total borrowed amount is slightly higher than my max borrowing.
