Here's the report (without the 70% drop by Xmas commentary).

One also has to consider that monthly figures are just noise.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Interesting to note that prices are falling (still?) in the NE and NW. I thought this might happen as the Tories unwound the huge Labour increases in welfare payments and Government spending in those areas post-2010 (I CBA to look up the posts but I had a bet with Gorgeous George years ago that this would be the case.

Cripes those London figures. I hope my dear, aged, sickly Aunt in London is keeping well and that she no longer fixes her own brakes on her car.....<<goes off to find Haynes manual>>

I thought it was so touching when you took it upon yourself to make sure her will was all in order last year.
    I think....

Did I see you post that you have a socket set?
  • 50% of the posts in that thread seem to be the ex-pat in France, and all of them say the same thing - "it's gorn mad!"

As I never tire of posting, you could buy a white stucco house in Maida Vale for £2,000 60 years ago, and when its price went up to £3,000 55 years ago, people then were saying "it's gorn mad!".

But I predict the prices will fall to £1,000 just before Xmas 50 years ago.

  • And I predict that 50 years ago you won't buy because it's still mad and hasn't fallen far enough yet. It's going to fall to £500 soon.

20 years later when it hits £20000 I further predict you will have changed your name to The Count of Nowhere...

There's a few people advocating giving up on life altogether and living on benefits instead. That's a strange attitude considering renting is so brilliant and saves you so much money.

    Also, this guy
My thoughts entirely, i had a couple of grand set aside for a training course to advance my skillset, i decided to spend it on a 11 day trip to Thailand instead.

    Wow.
