DFW Dating

Now that I have had my LBM and finally realised the extent of the mess I am now too embarrassed and fearful to get into a relationship. I think that I consider myself an irresponsible person now and don't feel worthy of anybody, and also dating is expensive - new undies , dates etc! I think there should be a DFW dating site for us likeminded people!

Squirrel - I'll bet DFW dating is more fun than clubbing/expensive meals/clothes etc. Best things in life are free an all that.
Plus honesty is admirable thing and I'll bet many would prefer that than the fast lane.

Hi Squirrel I know exactly how you feel. I have just entered a new relationship and we've only beet together 6 weeks and I'm absolutely terrified to tell him about my financial situation. I've managed to pay off nearly all of my credit cards but I have a secured loan along with my mortgage that i'm paying each month. My repayments are manageable but I'm still ashamed of this secured loan. I took it out to repay debt some years ago and then run the debt up again (pre LBM).

I was on my own for 5 years and know exactly how your feeling. This man came into my life when I was least expecting it and has made me happier than I have ever been. We haven't had any expensive dates yet, we're quite happy eating fish and chips in the car, or going for walks or just staying in with a chinese and cheap bottle of plonk. As for the undies - Peacocks and George have some real bargains!!!

Don't ever feel that your not worthy of having somebody. Big hugs
