Credit Score

My credit store really seems to be suffering at the moment. I want to renew my mortgage in 3 years time when fixed rate ends, if I were to keep plowing away at the snowball (by then I should only owe approx £3k), and not make any further applications for credit, will be credit score be ok? How long does it take to repair it?
Second and final LBM 01/01/11 Nearly got there but fell of wagon. HAVE to do it this time

  • It's according to what's on there... if you have any defaults they will take 6 years to drop off the end. Credit applications are usually kept for 6 months I think, and missed and late payments should be ok after 3 years.

Then theres the amount of debt = your income, which given the debt will be secured against your home I dont think wil be such an issue.
