Question About Making Payments

I'm in the process of setting up a token payment plan with my creditors. I have to pay them all £1 before it is formally set up. How do I make this payment? Do I send them a cheque or a £1 coin or what? Sorry if this is a silly question, but I really have no idea what to do!

Hi
It’s up to you really, although it’s not a good idea to send an actual £1 coin in the post. You could ask the creditor for their bank payment details and set up a standing order, send a cheque or ask them for a paying-in book. I think some creditors allow you to make payments via their website too.

A cheque is a valid form of payment so if that’s easiest for you they can’t really argue.
