Odeon & Mastercard Deal

Official MoneySavingExpert.com insert:

Simply pick up an application form from an Odeon and buy two tickets at a participating cinema with a mastercard before 30 Sept (value must be over £10).

Then send the form, receipt and a S.A.E to MasterCard ODEON Cinema Promotion, PO Box 123, Uckfield, TN 22 5UX and you will get two free tickets by post to be used by the end of the year.

You can do this as many times as you want.

You can do this as many times as you want, but can only claim once per transaction and form, so if you're taking a family, pick up a few forms and pay in separate transactions. Read the full T&Cs

Apologies if this has been posted before, But according to the Times of Saturday 1st September in the Supplement 'The Knowledge' there is a deal between Odeon and Mastercard:

If You Purchase 2 tickets at the odeon (Either Online or at the Box Office) and pay for them using a mastercard during the month of September you can send your receipt and a competed leaflet (Available at Odeons i assume) along with a SAE you will receive by return 2 FREE Odeon tickets to be used by the end of the year completely free.

Website for clarification is www.mastercard.co.uk/cinema

Hope this is of use to anyone....

Mark

  • From the terms and conditions, it looks like a family of four could get two pairs of tickets free, by purchasing their tickets in two transactions.

Probaly think we don't have cinema's in the 'country' - just go round cow tipping all day...

    Has tis worked for anyone?

PS - Looks like it might be in the tips email this week as Martin has added an 'official insert'!

    Thanks for the tip!
I'm just back from Cineworld having used my 2 vouchers from eating M&Ms ;)

The Odeon vouchers will be the exact same as the address for sending off to is the exact same :)

Where does the £10 limit come from. Not that it matters as I live in wales - I usually use showcase nantgaru where with orange wednesdays it only cost £2 each Plus a text

A bit like the "mini cruises" (aka car ferries), these places make most of their profit from selling food and drink, so be careful!
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.
  • Interesting - Plymouth is listed on the mastercard site as a participating cinema but go to the Odeon website and there's no Plymouth cinema listed at all! (It's there, I know it is, I walk past it most weekends!)

They must also make a fair whack when charging over 6 quid per ticket.
