Admin charges

Options
The company that are supposed to provide maintenance gave me a deadline to clear last years fees, even though the admitted that the company they employed to clean windows was not cleaning my velux windows but they were still billing me for them.

So after being advised to pay it and dispute it after they said payment had not been received and filed court papers. I phoned my bank and wrote in my defense as payment had been made and received on due date.

I was still writing a response but heard nothing.
On Saturday I received a letter outlining this years charges and saw a reduction of the amount they had added for the legal fees and then a plus amount for admin charges for not paying last month.

Now they say that it is there legal right to charge admin fees but I cannot find anything that quotes the amount of £45 for sending out a letter and I received nothing that informed me that they had withdrawn their case against me.

Do I have the right to also charge for sending them letters.
This company seems to have it in for me because I question their service or lack of.

Many thanks for any replies.

You might want to post this on HBR&S as it's not mortgage-related and frankly, I haven't a clue...
