Chatsworth Country Fair Half Lamb £3.75kg

If anyone is thinking of going to the Chatsworth Country Fair (last day today) they are selling half a lamb for between £32/£38 depending on weight, which works out at £3.75 per kg. If you buy one they will keep it for you until 5pm so don't have to take it round with you. Entrance to the fair is £12.50 BUT well worth it. We had an excellent day there and there were so many bargains we easily recouped the entrance fee.

Entrance fee is £15 Sunday. We went yesterday and bought winter coats + one for the aging dog. Brilliant day. Still feel a bit queasy after trying everything in the food tent though.

Edit to say: PS there is half of Bakewell Farmers' Market there too.0 -
By the way, if anyone lives nearby, when we came out about 1 1/2 hours before it finished, they were no longer taking entrance fees, so it may be worth just popping along near the end of the day just to pick up a few bargains.0
