I can't say for sure whether I have had a letter or not. I do tend to save at least one of each company's letter that I receive. I would suggest that I havent received that letter.

ok, I just spoke to a representative from OPOS which is acting as a collection agent to Kapama who has bought the debt from minicredit.

They said they would accept a payment of £800 to settle the debt

yup but have they a right to the money?

have you read that link I sent you ? after they shut down in the UK they and others cannot add charges

never ring debt collectors , NEVER , you are a hooked fish now

the balance has been frozen since my initial defaults with microcredit, so this is the same balance I have owed for the last 4 years.

    Opening Balance on 05/09/2012 £1,049.00

I never received an email about the balance being transferred to Kapama until 21/01/2015

I had requested documentation from OPOS about my minicredit loan. They sent me a contract, however this has very limited details and doesn't show any details about the initial loan of £100, just that I had a credit limit of £1500

no, sorry it was 1 initial loan of £100 but there was a fee of £19.50 to get the money so I only actually got £80.50
