Do I need a solicitor for a fee free mortgage

Hi all,
I am currently remortgaging for the first time for a better rate. The mortgage offer is in the post?:j. I have had a message stating that I need to contact my solicitor to arrange the mortgage transfer.
This mortgage has free fees, legal etc, I thought they may arrange everything.
How does this work, do I pay a solicitor and claim it back?

If you have a free legal incentive on the mortgage then you need to contact that solicitor.
What solicitor did you put on the application, if you didn't specify your own one you are using the lenders designated solicitors so contact themI am a Mortgage Adviser

I did not specify a solicitor, so am assuming they will sort it out. I have emailed them to ask.

they have instructed one of their nominated solicitors to do the legal work so there’s no need to organise a firm of my own.0
