I've decided to buy an Immersun, having chosen it over the rivals and happy with my projected savings.

There is a special offer if buying directly from their website, at £329 including shipping. This runs out on 29 Feb.
They also have a recommend a friend offer, whereby both the recommender and recommendee can receive either vouchers or MyImmersun monitoring.

The recommender would have to own the T1060 (Mk II), not original T1050 (Mk I), be registered with Immersun for the full guarantee and send the recomendee his/her serial number. Details are here: https://www.immersun.co.uk/Recommend-A-Friend.html

EDIT 24/2/16: The post originally was a request for someone to be a recommender for me, but I have now had some responses. I have left the post in place as information for others, but edited as I now have a referral.

Thanks,
James

    Hi

That was pretty quick ... post at 12:12 and insert the #edit at 12:13 ..... ;) ..... anyway, having just checked it seems that the T1060 is readily available for ~15% below the abovementioned 'special offer' price.

I'd hazard a guess that if the recent reduction in FiT tariffs has a serious effect on the number of pv installations then the number of simultaneous (/inclusive deals) will fall too, this placing a great deal of downward price-pressure on the proportional diversion device market .... so the 'special prices' being seen at the moment may just be the beginning of a new price-point fishing exercise aimed at existing pv owners ...

  • I had some quick responses but not quite that quick! It was 12 hours and 1 minute until I edited the post.

Having now ordered, I can now see the price mentioned by zeupater. That is a good deal - especially if the monitoring part is not needed - as I have been contemplating the Immersun for a little while and hadn't seen a deal anywhere near as good as that. Even units on eBay seem to be getting good money.

Anyhow, my Immersun ordered direct from 4eco arrived this morning so I hope to get it fitted soon.

    .

    :T

A lot to be said for the 24 hour clock notation, instead of am/pm!
  • Even back in 2011 I felt the Immersun was way to expensive.

Ended up with a Solarimmersion which does exactly the same bar some monitoring. Significantly cheaper though and still working away four years on...

    Cheers
