Any suggestions please for where I can buy, cheap of course, Easter egg shaped cake tin. One that can go in the oven and around 6" long

Try Lakeland (online). They certainly do moulds for a spherical cake.0

I've checked and the only Easter egg mould is one for a chocolate egg at £3.99.
You could cut a sponge cake to fit in a home made chocolate egg, then ice the exterior.0 -
Normally I would cut a cake to shape but I'm doing these with our grandchildren and there are 11 plus 3 great nieces/nephews so that will be quite a fuss to do 14 cakes. Then shape them.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0
