Thanks! I think in our case it was a bit delayed as we went direct to the bank and had some issued with payslips being submitted and problems at their end deciding how to proceed. Most people I've spoken to said theirs came in 2-4 weeks so you might be luckier, other friends of ours that are first time buyers with no debts/credit issues and straightforward incomes (no variance in how much they take home) have been quoted by their broker 2-3 weeks0

Our offer was really quick - MB submitted the application 16th Feb, valuation done 18th Feb and formal offer received via email from our MB on 19th Feb with hard copy in the post 20th Feb. We are going with Halifax. The quickness is all owing to our fabulous MB0
