Hello I am currently waiting for my mortgage offer and I've paid for the searches but solicitor says that they won't process them until the offer has come through? Is this right? Thanks

    Its down to you and the solicitor. If they start the searches now and you do not get a Mortgage offer then you risk losing the money you have paid to the solicitors.

    If you are in a rush then ask to start, if you are not in any particular hurry then hold fire.
