Tax Credits suspended, not sure what to do now?

After some advice on where to turn or what to do here. Basically through a !!!! up with my employer who put incorrect details on my P60 we have had our tax credits working and child tax suspended until the new tax year in April. From 180 down to zero in one fell swoop and have an overpayment of 1400 (Sorry US Keyboard and no pound sign)
The situation is I work 40 hours per week for min wage. My wife 5-10 hours per week for min wage. We are already on a DMP with Payplan although I would bet that will now also be screwed meaning we are on our own. HELP:o

Hi,
Aprils only two months away, simply suspend your payments till then.
Payplan should be fine with that when you explain what has happened, no need to panic here, it's easily sorted.
You should write and explain to your creditors about the tax credit situation, I doubt they will blink an eyelid to be honest.
Essential payments always come first, unsecured debt is at the bottom of the list, your creditors will simply have to wait.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
