            Good morning.
Thank you, I am just a bit then :-) but it's true I'm determined to turn things around.
Got on the scale this morning. 71kg, ouch. Most I ever weighed was 74kg, when pregnant! This really sucks. Nothing in my wardrobe fits anymore and I'm definitely not revamping it to accommodate for this. So yeah, the weight needs to go fast; considering how fast I gained it. Ideally I'd like to get to 60ish but I'll be happy to get back where I was half a year ago, which is 64kg! No more bread, pasta, and no artificial sugar for me!PAYDBX16: #135 paid £859 / £92590

Morning! I was going to do the conversion to see how my weight compares but honestly, I'm scared to do it - haha. I have also gained a stone (or so) in the last few months due to depression/laziness/general feels and determined to get it off.
How old is your DD? I have a 2 year old who keeps me busy but also keeps me in debt 'cause I feel bad that she can't have all of the lovely things that I want to - but can't really afford to - give her!
Loved your envelope rant, I really need one of those! My Debt Free Diary

            Good morning,
It would appear we have a similar amount of debt, however you are going to pay yours off a lot quicker than myself. I think the realisation of living beyond our means is the biggest step forward in sorting out our financial woes.
It would appear you have everything in check so far.
With regards to the weight-loss I found a structured approach work better than just cutting out bad carbs. I've done this before and tend to carb crave on re-feed days which ends up with me over indulging. Take a look at this link it may put things into perspective of what a healthy weight-loss diet can look like.Loan: £9,500/£10,000

@Clare: she's almost 8, so I can't blame any of the weight on pregnancy anymore. It's all my fault! Please join me in losing the stone, it's better with company. Nobody at work wants to do it, and my friends can't be bothered either, they are al either thin or preggo
@Flooky: thanks for the link, I'll check it out... I like the LCHF eating style (low carb high fat) but I'm addicted to bread and I like my rice, so that's hard long term, but doable if bread and rice limited :-) Also I've been toying with the intermittent fasting 16:8 diet, again as a lifestyle choice, as I tend to skip breakfast anyway (just coffee for me, perhaps a yoghurt).PAYDBX16: #135 paid £859 / £92590

Good luck on your journery to be debt free. Sounds very familiar I started with over 13k in debt, single, overweight. At least the debt has gone down to 3800.00 now, nothing else changed unfortunately. Do have grandson after work just hope when it gets lighter evenings I can get out more then.

Ok so went shopping today, last purchase until the 25th when it's pay day (and ASDA delivery). Spent £8 on my credit card - bread, rocket salad, apples, milk, eggs, some cheese, and a small yoghurt - which together with what we have at home should last until Thursday. And made myself a sandwich for work today, so I don't have to buy it. (So I can safely seal the CCs envelope now).
And in other news, got official consent to work from home 2 days every week (woo-hoo!), now my manager needs to approve which days. It will be either Friday and Tuesday, or Friday and Wednesday, these are the two options I proposed to him. My commuting costs won't decrease as I use a monthly travelcard, but this means my work lunch costs will go down, as I will only be in the office 3 days out of 5.
And, my plan is to start running (or at least walking) on those two days when WFH-ing. We live next to a royal park so it would be a pity not to get out... I've dropped my yoga lessons last year when my ex moved out of the country, as I could not afford to pay for yoga + a babysitter, and it wasn't doable at lunch.... classes were 90 mins. (and I can't be a---d to do it at home on my own, with a CD...)PAYDBX16: #135 paid £859 / £92590

I'll definitely join you in the weight loss. My BFF who is usually my go to diet buddy is pregnant so that's unhelpful - haha! I can't blame the pregnancy weight either - I lost it all (and more) last year but I've just gained it all back again.
I have a diary somewhere - not sure how to link it, haha! See if you can find me.My Debt Free Diary
