There is a possibility than the band reduction to Band A may mean that you were not entitled to certain CT benefits.
You have answered your own question in your penultimate sentence - contact the council. If the council are unhelpful, contact your local councillor.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
