What is the soonest i can get a mortgage? I hear nationwide after 36 months. Is it best to start banking with them? Any other adverse lenders who people have had success with? And what time frame.
Any tips on repairing file in preperarion and the amount of deposit required.
Also would it be possible for my parents get a 2nd residential mortgage in my name? Or perhaps a BTL for me? Or even guarentor?
What are my options?

Just because a lender could accept a bankruptcy after a period doesn't mean they will. You would have to be very lucky for the years 4,5, and 6 not to have trashed your credit file so much that would not put them off.
Speak to an adverse specialist broker now to find out what's the earliest you could start looking into applying.
I'm no expert in that area, but I'd expect it to be less than 3 years under the right circumstances, and by engaging a professional now you have the chance to work towards getting those circumstances rightI am a Mortgage Adviser

There are a couple of lenders, nationwide being one of them after 36 months. I have examples where nationwide have accepted and declined after 36 months so it is very hit and miss. Nationwide credit score, so if the 3 years prior and/or since have adverse and you have a 10% deposit then its unlikely you will pass.
With a 25% deposit you stand a better chance of getting accepted, but it also opens you up to more lenders who do not credit score. Definitely one for a broker though I think.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
