Non Standard Build

Just viewed a house with brick parting walls but the actual build is wood/frame?

Decor is from 60's era but will this be a issue with the bank?

Chances are that the bank's representative will never see the inside of the house.

Lenders differ in their attitude to timber framed property. What you do is contact a mortgage broker who should know which lenders to approach.

Only to the extent that it effects the valuation. For example, if there was artex all over the place, that might be an issue.

Sounds like "Crosswall Construction" otherwise known as "Rationalised Traditional". Lots of them build in the 60s. I think there are plenty of lenders but have no experience myself.
