What proof of earnings will I need?

Hi, I would love some advice on what proof of earnings I will need in order to take out a mortgage.
When my mother passed away several years ago she left the family house to me and my sisters, the house is currently on the market and about to be sold. My share will be enough for a sizeable deposit (60%ish) for a house for myself, I will however need a mortgage for the rest.
For employment I work as my grandmothers full time carer. While I have been looking at various mortgages and their criteria I have noticed I will need to provide 3 months payslips, my grandmother however has never provided me with these nor would she even know what they are or how to make them. Does this mean I am stuck or can I show my bank statements instead?
Any advice would be greatly received as I am getting nervous about selling the roof over my head and not being able to secure another.
Many thanks in advance.

Sounds like you need to find a mortgage broker to guide you (and your case) to the best lender.0

I guess there was no formal arrangement to officially pay you then.
Not sure you can base a mortgage on pocket money from your granny.0 -
Do you declare your income for tax or benefits reasons? If so paperwork from this may help. If not you & your granny could be in more strife!0

no I don't declare my income for tax reasons as I am an employee not self employed and I don't claim any benefits. My grandma has a tax accountant that figures out what is to be paid each year.0

Then your grandma's tax accountant is the person to speak to, he should be able to produce P60s etc for you0
