Is it just me or does everyone else seem that competition wins are getting few and far between, don't get me wrong I love this hobby and winning is a bonus. But it certainly feels like wins are getting less frequent as they used to.

Probably because the press run a story every other day about how easy it is to make £50k a year out if it. If only....2017 wins = £1350
2016 wins = £125 (18 months off comps)
2015 wins = £6,460
2014 wins = £1,3500 -
Always happens when the press run a story, it'll die down as people realise it's not all sunshine and rainbows0

No I haven't notticed wins dying down.0

No, I have won more competitions (13) this year than last year and it's only February!0

I've had a terrible start to the year, my worst few weeks since I started comping in 2009, last year was fairly quiet but nowhere near this bad. I seem to be entering my usual amount of comps so will plod on and hope its just a dry spell that will end soon:)0

Prize fund 2015: £55.89
Prize fund 2016: £679.76
Prize Fund 2017: £51.940 -
I don't keep track but think my last win was in October.0

I started back in Jan after 10 weeks off from October, came back as an end date comper till I cba to catch up on the board again which will probably be September as life is hectic.
I've had more web wins in the 6/7 weeks I have been back than I had in 6 months being caught up on the board, but my twitter win ratio is down big time, but that's swings n roundabouts as lots of what I have entered there doesn't finish till end of month, so last week of Feb I will batter twitter.
Gave up totally on fb and closed it as I didn't find it productive.
I do an hour on twitter a day, in 2 30 min spurts and whatever end list on mse takes, usually 40 mins max, bar end of month which takes me 8 hrs spread over a few days.
It's always quiet after xmas, usually picks u around now/march time, then it goes quiet in summer holidays again.
