Wonga...

Hi Guys!

Just wondering if anyone knows for what period Wonga were retracting their loans?

Just called them and they can't even tell me which of the loans i took out defaulted -__-

  • Should add that they have now confirmed that i defaulted on one loan in August 2013 and then again on another one in 2014.

I understand that i was irresponsible (but at the time i was out of options) however wouldn't common sense tell you not to lend to someone who had just defaulted?

    Very confused.

the answer is YES they should not have lent you money after your first default , and they were indeed found guilty of doing this

secondly those are defaults , have you considered paying the loans off before they apply for CCJs

what other sort of answer do you want me to make up?

It's clearly Wongas fault for lending, not the OPs fault for applying when they already had a defaulted loan with them.
  • It's all paid and settled but the defaults still remain.

The default will remain there for 6 years.

Or are you saying the 2nd default should be removed as they incorrectly gave you the loan?

Unfortunately it seems that this might be correct. Not only do you get repaid all the interest and charges you incurred but the fact that you failed to manage debt well is not visible to future lenders.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
