you can actually still buy these games for about £10 each in some shops.. but why bother !! 3 fun games ( Far cry is GREAT) for FREE!

yeah it either just means when you play the game there will be some textures that have been changed say magazines advertisin pepsi n stuff. no pop ups or anything tho. the game is still the same.

or itl mean that the ads on the site pay for it. no charges n pop ups for the person playin it.

no pop ups, no secret charges or anythin like that. check out the publisher UBISOFT. they announced they are giving it away free so its all official.

What Ad-Supported means is that there is a wait before you can download the games, for example Rayman Raving Rabbits waiting time approx. 44 minutes before you can download the game, while you wait they play ads to you on the little screen via the download program you have to install to download the games.

For you Oldies out there, i's a bit like X-Stream used to be
:think: remember the little banner ad at the top of the screen

If you pay a subscription, there is no waiting.

I would hope that as this is a FreeStuff site, NO-ONE will pay for it

If you minimise the window, it'll put an icon in your taskbar, by your clock & it will let you know how long you have left.

ahhh yeah i have been using fileplanet for AGES i always jsut minimise that window whilst in the wait queue! lol. havent ever paid for anything. i mean a 20 min wait for a download is nothing really. just queue it n get on with your business!

heeh didnt even think it was those adverts lol. its a tiny box in the download manager that shows adverts.. so just minimise it...

I have just registered with FirePlanet, spent nearly 4 hours downloading the Raving Rappids game, I'm on the Maxi Sky Broadband package as well,
then registered with Ubi.com, tried to play the game:

Sorry, you have to live in the US to play this title :mad: :mad:

I don't know if it's just this title, but I'm not wasting anymore of my time

thats really wierd... just downloaded prince of persia sands of time from there and that works fine for me ...
