Our school PTA waits for this deal every year.
We do an egg event where the children pay £1, do a trail and get an egg, so we need to get them at less than £1 each to not make a loss (we don't aim to make much profit on this).
The last couple of years out little local tesco has let us buy in one go and thrown in a couple of slabs of eggs (think 9 on a slab?) for free. So praise where it's due, well done tesco.0 -
there is a limit of 12 eggs per customer0

Those eggs only look worth around 75p anyway, not worth paying more than a pound for one Mars Bar and an egg. Or am I still just living in the 90s?0

That is normal for this offer. (See my post above re PTA buying, we had to get all the PTA to make a few trips each before the local tesco let us do it in one go.). Our local tesco is less than a minute away from the school and many of the staff have children at the school, so they do a few things for us (eg SOR on things for the school fete, donations for various events etc)0 -

Spot on. And I personally feel that buying eggs in multiples takes a bit of the fun off.If my post doesn't appear to be serious, then it is not serious. So what? Kick back, relax enjoy life and have a little fun. Life is far far too short to be grumpy!!!!0
