Anyone using Huel?

I currently take the Tesco own brand vitamin/diet milkshake for breakfast everyday, hoping to be able to handle one for lunch soon too (I just love to chew though...:D ), but I came across Huel from a blogpost. Kinda does the same thing, if not better, all nutrients etc needed, but a lot more expensive than the Tesco shake. 160 a month for Huel, but that is for three meals (shakes) per day. Anyone been using Huel, does it live up to their promotional hype?. People saying they lost weight, got lots of energy, two things I want...new year resolutions and all.

Instead of using expensive gimmicks like this, it is far better to adjust your diet.
  • Very fair point, although I am hoping it isn't a gimmick. I want to use it to break my bad food habits then wean myself back onto a better diet. I definitely consume too much, and I think a detox - of sorts - would help me. I like the idea of eventually having some kind of shake for breakfast, and then have prepared lunch, and then normal dinner at night. Currently lunchtime is my biggest issue.
  • Got my Huel, works out at £1.50 per meal. Tastes like cold watery porridge but even in short time I do feel a lot more energy. Time will tell.
  • Did you purchase huel in the end? I'm thinking of giving it a go myself.
