UK Land Registry House Prices for Jan 2016

Hi

Does any one know how often Land Registry people update their data? The latest I can see is for Dec 2015. I would have thought by now mid Feb they would upload their Jan 2016 data but nothing there.

I found this old thread that explains that it could take them any where from a day to umpteen weeks to update their data. However since I cant find any transactions any where since Dec 2015 I think they have not done any updates for over a month now.

Also for e.g. this property shows as sold on 04/12/15 which is about 2.5 months ago. When do you think very roughly the offer was made on this property ie time from offer to completion?

I am looking at similar properties in same area and right now they are advertised for approx 100k more. Surely the market hasnt moved this quickly unless I am missing some thing?

The next Land Reg HPI release will be 26th Feb and January price paid data should be available the same day on the site.
