I have two girls from a previous relationship that ended nearly 10 years ago- they are now teenagers.
Their father did see them on and off for a while- always at his house as he wasnt to know where we live due to his previous viloence towards me.
However the relationship has broken down completely between my eldest and him- and my 2nd doesnt want to have anything to do with him. He has never paid any maintememce but I let this drop as I knew chasing him for it would cause the girls grief.. However they are now getting more expenssive as they get older and could use thew money- the question is thast if I applied to the CSA- no way would he pay willingly- would they give him my home address? I must avoid thia at all costs- he is still not the most stable of people

CSA cannot give out your home address to your ex or any other personal details such as phone number or even the area you live in, it is against the data protection act.

This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.Robert M. Hutchins0 -
Whilst they are prevented from giving out your home address details, they did give my address and telephone number to my very violent and aggressive ex husband. This caused us a great deal of anguish and completely spoilt our christmas (the first in our new house as we were forced to move to get away from him) The csa have apologised but done nothing else to put the matter right they have simply walked away, leaving our lives in turmoil. Be very careful and insist that your case is marked to try and ensure this doesn't happen to you.0

There is a radio button to tick if a PWC or NRP is PV(Potentially Violent), this would flag up every time your account was access. And as said above it is against the Data Protection Act and the company can be fined for giving out info they shouldn't.Made it - 15 years married!! Finally!! xx:beer:0

Indeed.
The incompetency of the CSA has alot to answer for. I know a girl who was left £12 to live on a week on benefits because the CSA told the IS that she was getting £37 a week instead of £11 - and she has just got out of hospital after 2 major operations and she HAD to go and see them :mad:0
