Rescinding offer

Hi

A year ago I split up with my partner and even though we had bought a house together I left and we went through the process of removing my name from the mortgage. I gave her half the money for this but she has told me that as the house is lease hold extra costs have been incurred and she asked me to pay half. As my heart was ruling my head at the time I agreed via text that I would pay her monthly but in retrospect I feel that she has come out of this relationship a lot better than I have. Am i able to rescind this offer?

I would suggest you tell her to sell the house if she can't afford to live there (assuming there are no kids to support that come into the equation).

  • You can rescind the offer or as clive woody suggests sell the property
