After finding out a 44 year old man was still renting the other day, I just don’t know what to believe in this crazy world anymore
who knows?0 -
Why are you so shocked at someone aged 44 still renting.
I know a guy where I work who is about to retire - works as a security guard and never earned much or enough to buy. Lovely bloke who does lots for charity. I gather some on here might regard him as a loser - but better to be a renter than a t****er!
He is 65 - there are 9 million UK renters and I they certainly aren't all under 40!0 -
NoThis has to be the most idiotic poll ever on MSE, so I voted for both.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0

To be fair that was the answer for last year, with Prime London falling back while the rest of London continued to rise significantly!0 -

Happens all the time to me where something intended as irony is taken literally. I've contacted Martin Lewis* to see if we can have a special irony smilie to save having to explain the joke (which is never good).
I suspect we just have a more rounded sense of humour than the average internet user.
* Rich2808 - I haven't really contacted Martin Lewis0 -

How can they keep falling when they haven't started falling?
If the question is about PCL then I would think the market will just adjust to tax levels so high they defeat the object. It is now decisively cheaper for a foreigner to buy two million-pound properties then a single two million pound property, so I expect demand to shift towards that.0
