Rail card for hearing aid users

Apologies if this has been posted before.

I recently attended my local audiology clinic and there was a poster for a disabled persons rail card. Aparently if you wear hearing aids you are eligible for this rail card. All they ask for is a copy of the front page of your NHS battery book or a copy of your dispensing prescription from a private hearing aid supplier.

Whilst the Senior Rail Card is £30 the Disable Persons Rail Card is only £20.

I never realised this and thought I would share it, especially as there is no age restrictions so good for the under 60's Here is a link to the eligibily criteria if you want to know more.

And if you travel in London you can ask a staff member at any tube station to add your railcard to your oyster card to get a third off tube and bus travel.
