Morning all,


Waken early today. I do get a bit stressed about foreign holidays which is strange as we used to do so many. Anyway, we are heading off to Newcastle Airport in the afternoon and staying the night as we fly tomorrow morning. Still have all the packing to do and a few jobs in the house so will say goodbye now. Don't have free internet at our apartment but expect I will manage to get online occasionally to read what everyone is up to and hear about all your wins.
No comping for me for nearly 2 weeks!!!!

now it looks like it's going to be a decent weather day! :T
Not looking forward to weather conditions tomorrow :eek:
(apparently due to be wet and ghastly) but yay ....
temperature back up to double figures from Thursday

not to worry - somewhere there will be a little place

Good morning all, it has been trying to snow here but turned into rain. Need the rain to stay away so we can get the sheds and garden things sorted while DS is here.

Thanks for your kind words everyone, DD2 offered to have Lottie and tried to persuade us to take the flat but wouldn't part with Lottie for anything, especially after the loss of Sukie not so long ago.

If I am not too late have a lovely holiday Sheils and try not to get too stressed and enjoy yourselves.

Morning peeps had a lovely Mothers Day. Nice meal and flowers. Son cooked for three mums. Me DIL and her mum. GD had a bit of a poorly tummy yesterday think she had too many sweets and chocolate but she is back at school this morning. Well done on all the wins lately to everyone. Bit chilly here this morning but hopefully it will warm up a bit later.

Sheils hope you both have a great holiday with plenty of sunshine. Once you get there all your worries will fall disappear.

Sylvia you did the absolute right thing. There's no good moving and having some stress. Lottie is part of your family. As Alfie says some thing will come up for you. I'm dreaming of a little bungalow for you. My sister and her DH live in one. Fingers crossed. Hope rain stops where you are for DS to crack on.

Pleased you enjoyed Mother's Day Rose. Great your son cooked for you all.

Evening peeps had son drop in on way home from work. Him and some others from his boat (submarine) have signed up for the Edinburgh half marathon in May. So he wants me to put out some feelers for sposorship etc as they are all running for childrens hospital that they have been raising money for since January. They finish the main fund raising at the end of this month but they are going to add this on. Best of luck to them he is starting training at weekend as he has only been going to the gym since he got home so needs to put in a lot of miles running out on the road as well.

Sorry I haven't been in often,been so busy,working for British Heart Foundation on a Tuesday afternoon as well as my other job Volunteering in Health on a Thursday afternoon,may work in a new Pavilions as well doing volunteering work.
Slimming World is going well as weight loss is coming off slowly.
I am now a paying member. I walk a dog on Tuesday mornings which I enjoy.
