Thanks all, had a lovely day at Cragside (NT property) The grounds, gardens and walks there are great. Was a nice sunny day until about 3pm. We came out of the house then as we visited it last and it started to rain. Just gone off now.
Having dinner in the hotel again tonight and heading to near Whitley Bay tomorrow - got bargain rate at Village Hotel there when booked in January!
Well done on some more lovely wins FF.

Just had an email titled Congratulations ...... then the email read :-
Thank you for entering our competition for the Multipurpose activity table & chair set, worth £49.99. We received a huge amount of entries and the correct answer was... Julian Bowen!
Unfortunately you haven't won the competition prize this time, however don't despair... YOU ARE STILL A WINNER!
You have won a free personalised name when you buy one of our handmade children's clocks
Seriously hate these emails, if I haven't actually won anything!

Glad you had a good day sheils - I really like Cragside, lots to see and do! Bit pricey though, but fortunately my parents both work/worked for the NTS so could get me in free as a guest on their staff cards!
PMS - I hate those emails too! You get so excited for a few seconds then it all comes crashing back down again, haha!
Agree about cereal prices StokieBecks! Hope you enjoy your granola (and coloured milk!)0 -

I love hedgehogs FF! I haven't seen one for years though - how nice to have a regular visitor!
Feeling very sad this morning. Yesterday a car veered off the road into a loch very close to where I grew up, and late last night they announced that two children have died.My mum got caught up in the road closure on her way home from work and a helicopter landed on the road right behind her! She had to take a long way home along lots of tiny back roads. I've often been nervous going along that bit of road as there's no barrier there and it's right next to the loch.
Anyway, on more positive news, it's supposed to be a bit warmer today with some sun, but I don't think it's to last! Hope everyone has a lovely day and gets some wins!0
