Yes, thanks FireFly. It was a very good day here. Black cloud went over so no rain. GKs had some lunch in garden and then DS took them to Eltham Palace. They had a good time as there was a festival going on there and they joined in dancing etc. Little one slept on bus home. DH took them by car but red double decker buses are a novelty for them.

Meanwhile DH and I had a good rest.

Had a glass of wine with dinner this evening so a good evening.

Well done on wins Sheils and Indie.

Wingo so pleased to hear your DD had a great time after all your effort. It's frightening how quickly they grow up. Think we are all so pleased as you must be that she is finished with that dreadful school.
    Hope your back is better.

Dear Rose do hope you are ok. Feel sure your DS and family will have had a good weekend, so sorry you couldn't make it with them.

Sylvia hope you have had a great day with your DD on her birthday.

Aw, that sounds lovely Firefly, but summer is absent here! There's been a tiny bit of sun on and off, but mostly dull, showery, and windy! Still waiting for summer to arrive! I've only just taken my winter bottom sheet off my bed, and it's JULY!

Sounds like you had a lovely day with your family leanfun. :)

    Hi everyone,

Just typed a load of stuff and it has vanished - grrrrrr

Some lovely pics Alfie, Sylvia and FF - thank you

It has been cold here although dry. Have had the heating on and the electric blanket.

Hope your back is feeling better wingo.

Sounds like you are having fun with the family leanfun. Nice to do the local attractions with children seeing them for the first time. We often have picnics in the car when we are heading on our travels.

Been totally confused as to what day it is today as DS3 was off work and he seldom has a Sunday off also we aren't heading off until Tuesday on our next break. Casualty being on tonight didn't help either.
