Hope your grand kids have good time in Ayr rose. Haven't been there this year. Used to take DD and her friend shopping there quite often but her BF takes her about now.

Great you received your phone sylv! I've only got a Nokia
brick but it suits me fine. It's just kept in my bag for
emergencies! I couldn't do without my iPad or little lappy
though.

Hope the weather stays dry for all your washing


I've got a pile of the dreaded ironing to do here :eek:

but .... as it's such a beautiful sunny morning here, I
may just pop out to the garden for a while and see
what needs doing. :whistle: The ironing can wait!

Goodness it is tipping it down here. Just had some flowers delivered from DS DIL and GK's. Wasn't expecting them. Nice surprise. Neighbour brought me down a pile of magazines. She must spend a fortune in a week on them. Hope the weather is holding up for everyone else. Off to check e/mails. There are probably hundreds of them as have not checked for days.

ff I will be reading for weeks lol. She must spend £20/£30 a week on them but very nice of her to bring them down. Usually she gives them to her sister who is a nurse and she takes them to work. So will keep them and give her them back.

Welcome to the Jordan's granola club sheils! I haven't tried mine yet, but will do so later!

Ugh, just had to pay some bills I've been putting off, and now not sure how I'm going to get through the rest of the month. Fingers crossed for a cash win, even something small!!

April Lady fingers crossed for you. Inkling it isn't your fault hon think the wind and rain has travelled down south from scotland. Rather nice here now lol so better weather on the way. Had sons navy friend in earlier. He came in to ask how to cook spag bol. He has a new girlfriend and wants to impress lol. Told him I had some in the freezer so told him he could have it. But have sent him to supermarket with a list for wine and a sweet and some pecorino (prefer it) and said to him if you want to stretch it get some cheeses and crackers. He is off with a jump in his step lol think he is smitten. He is so confident in his job and now he knows me I am his second mum . His own mum and dad phone me every so often to see how he is. I keep telling them he is fine but like mine he is an only child . He is taking her to a pub just yards up the road which have brilliant bands on a Saturday night afterwards so fingers crossed for him.
