I was so excited this morning when I heard the post come through with a real thud.. only to find it was all for my hubby. Boo.June 2016 Wins: £64 Argos Voucher :j July 2016 Wins: £25 Cash :j0 -
Okay this is a little bit more serious. It's my birthday today and I received an unexpected anonymous card sent to me via this site
https://www.bonkersbirthdays.co.uk/rude-cards/index.html
As you can see some of them are quite nasty and the one I received was by no means the worst - which was some slight relief - someone who really wanted to upset me could have sent a much nastier one.
No one of my acquaintance would have thought for one moment I would find this sort of thing amusing.
Also the postcode was slightly wrong and the address not as I write it so I don't suspect anyone nearby and in any case none of my neighbours knows my birthdate.
I am wondering if some weird competition might think their customers would like this but at £2.40 a pop plus postage it seems unlikely. Anyone else ever received a similar thing?
At the very least this site is facilitating stalking and harassment. Is it even legal to do this?
Would appreciate any thoughts.0 -
Gosh ChamomileTao that is strange. Never heard of anything like that before.
Are you sure a friend didn't send it as a joke? Some people do have a strange sense of humour.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

No my friends are as humourless as I am when it comes to vulgarity lol.0

So sorry to hear this has happened on your birthday. Dont let it spoil the day.
It's very strange. If a competition provider or someone had hacked a comp surely they would have your address as you write it. Very odd.
Have a great Bithday0 -
