Leanfun, my bro is doing well with kidney but unfortunately has recently had skin cancer removed from his back. He is more at risk with taking anti rejection drugs so has to be really careful in the sun.

Sheils, I bet the cheese souffl! was delicious as it sounds! I've never had one of them. Enjoy your rhubarb pie and good luck searching your next break We booked up and going on an all inc in turkey in school hols

Alfie, I'm glad you got the rain as you wanted but we had sweltering sun today! Phew...it was overwhelming!

Morning everyone. Bit dull here. Hopefully it will brighten up later. Have to go out for an hour this morning (dentist) Having a filling replaced it has started to crumble. Had it for years so it has done well lasting so long. Hope everyone is well. Have a lucky day.

Good Morning,


Hoping sun will be out here soon - forecast fine for while by looks of it. Must try and get into garden today. DH cut front lawn yesterday so back lawn today. Everything seems to have grown so much, all at once!


Glad you have a holiday booked wingo. Great that your DD1 still wants to go with you. DS3 came at 16 but he was the only one. DD wouldn't come when there was just her. They all had part time jobs mind you and wanted the money more than a holiday.


DS3's souffl! was brilliant - they are one of his specialities. He was nicknamed the souffl! king for a while at work! He made cheese and bacon ones with a rich creamy chive sauce. As he says he makes them all the time but never gets to eat them so he enjoyed his too. He put raspberries in the rhubarb crumble too. It was like eating in a fancy restaurant

Morning, nice sunny one here at the moment.Well done on the wine win rose..Glad you enjoyed your meal sheils. I use to cook them all the time years ago but it was so long ago don't think i remember how they are done now..lol. I love rhubarb crumble as well..Got lots of washing to do today, as it's nice it should dry. Hope you all have a good day

Sheils you dinner sounds mouthwatering. Know what you mean Indie I used to bake a lot but not now. It's only crumbles and scones. Firefly's pics of pies made me think I haven't made one for years.

Rose hope dentist goes well. You seem to be a bit better hope so.

Wingo brilliant about your brother's kidney, I was just writing yours, is working well. Sorry to hear about the skin cancer. So pleased you have holiday booked that won't be long now.

Longest day today. Can't believe it's here already. Sunny here. Let's hope it lasts after all the rain. Sheils so much of it plants have grown out over the front path again. Lo someone gave me a pink hardy geranium years ago and I have spent years digging it up but garden is full of it again.
