Morning, we had no rumblings yesterday FF, the sun did come out in the afternoon and it was muggy all day. I managed to get my garden and hedge out front cut so pleased with that.Also got 3 lines of washing dry.I am not at work till tomorrow so will catch up with some housework today.Let's hope today does bring some wins COnfused.

Had a few rumblings yesterday Firefly. It was glorious sunshine all morning while I stared wistfully at it from inside my office, then as soon as I finished work at lunchtime and went outside, the sun went in and there was thunder and lightning! Was not impressed, haha!

Ho April that is typical of the weather.

We did have a storm yesterday. We had thunder and lightening for a while and then rain for a few hours but then a fine evening.

Just remembered I had a WEM for a limited edition film T Shirt yesterday. I don't usually go in these.

Have a good day off Indie. Hope Sheils is enjoying her break.

Also forgot to say I had an email last night from ShowFilmFirst. They were offering tickets for our local theatre for musicals this week. We just had to pay £1 each ticket admin fee. We were lucky and now have tickets to see Samantha Barks on Monday. I think she sings Andrew Loyd Webber type songs. Normal price £23-£26.

I found this site over on Freebies months ago and they once offered me some free cinema tickets but we couldn't go. They offer tickets and then they are on a first come basis. We were over at DDs last night and it was three hours since email came with offers for four different shows so we were very lucky to obtain any tickets.

that's typical AprilLady, always happened when
I was working as well,
sun would be lovely all day but come home time

Hope you're all ok.

Phew! No rumblings here fire**fly, not even a weeny
rumble! It's soooo muggy - the sun is shining away and
I hate to be the one to say this .... but is it ok if I
do the Alfie rain dance?

Having said that ... I feel so sorry for the awful
weather some peeps had yesterday including flash
flooding on what was already very dry ground
conditions. :eek: Poor souls :sad: - my heart
really goes out to them.

Had my hair trimmed and thinned yesterday :j so it
feels a lot better now - can't believe how quickly it
grows in just 6-7 weeks!

Managed to get out and do some gardening too
earlier on in the day

and got a good deal of pruning back done - the
plants (and weeds! ) are loving this weather.

Same here fire**fly .... bone dry, not a cloud in the
sky and very very humid!
