How can I kondo/minimise kids stuff?

  • I've started Kondoing and have a daughter of 7 who is a hoarder.

As the book says, you can only do your own stuff. I've found that to be very liberating as my husband is also reluctant to part with things (two halves of the wardrobe now look like a before and after picture!)

Her room is a nightmare, she wants to keep everything for her "own children" but now it doesn't worry me.
I know it won't always be like this as my son was very messy- now at nearly 15 he is wonderfully tidy.

I just give her her clean washing and take out the dirty stuff- stress free!
