ah well it's worth a try though isn't it? it's not gonna make a significant difference to my surplus LOL
  • All looks good to me, although i am really interested as to how you only pay £4 for tv lic...purely inquisitive, nothing sinister.

BLTN - I think TV licence is one of those you can't really get any cheaper - I know there's a significant reduction if you have a visual impairment these days, but I seem to remember about 15 years ago that you got 1.25 off your yearly bill of 90 quid! which always made me giggle!

I put down a holiday amount under 'holidays/emergencies/birthdays/christmas' - I'm guessing the B'day/Xmas would be disallowed but hopefully the holiday/emergency will be allowed as in the paperwork it says it's reasonable to have a holiday as long as it isn't excessive - if the OR queries it, query him/her on it (politely obviously :P). Remember that the OR is working for you, paid for by you, so do pipe up if you feel things aren't right. I know that's hard as you feel 'wrong' by going BR in the first place, but when I was at the OR's office the girl kept repeating 'it's only for 12 months and it's a fresh start for you, a new start in lie, it's not that bad' so they don't think we are scum of the earth it would appear :).

If you don't put it down you're not allowed it, if it gets knocked off at least you asked, and it might give them something to cut down on so they feel like they are doing their job. Just a thought on the TV license though - if everyone moved out, and you were there alone, you would then have to cover the whole amount on your own, and if you have a lock on your bedroom door (a proper one, not just a bolt on the inside) you are meant to have a license just for that room - I've put that badly. What I mean is individual rooms are liable to TV licenses (I am thinking back about 10 years to uni btw, so read up on this - it might have changed?), and therefore you have to have one for your room, something about Houses of Multiple Occupancy. Please please don't think I'm trying to worry anyone here - what I'm trying to do is say it is reasonable for you to put down the full £12 a month for the TV license based on HMO and the situation possibly changing leaving you out of pocket in the future, if that makes sense?

Oh, what about Dentist? I know you are meant to hae NHS unless you can prove you need otherwise, but I still thought you had to pay for NHS things like fillings etc even it is is a reduced amount? Thats all I can think of for now....
Do not feed the trolls please.

Your i/e for bankruptcy is fine, you can have a holiday fund, I would alter your sundries / emergencies to ' personal expenses' which are also allowable. There is no way you should get an IPA, if you do, dont agree to it, appeal.

I agree with PixiePie, you should put the full £11 for the tv licence.
