Sent the same prize twice.

I won some walking boots on Facebook however they never had my size and they agreed to swap them to another walking boot in my size at same value which was great, Today 2 parcels turned up (i am excepting a few from other companies) so i signed for them and it turns out to be the same prize twice. I know i have to return one of the pairs and i have contacted the company to arrange this, I have asked for them to collect the extra pair from my home in a morning if indeed they want the other pair back which i think they will as they are RRP £99.99. Have i done all i should?

Absolutely, you've done more than most would! If they want them back then they'll let you know.

It's not unknown for this to happen - it's happened to me twice. I would bet they tell you to keep them as it's too much trouble to arrange for them to be returned.

Quick update,

Got another pair delivered today so i now have 3 pairs of boots, They have read my facebook message i sent on Saturday (within 5 minutes) I have now called up head office to try and speak to someone about this and left my details.

I once won a dinner set worth £100 and they sent me 5x the prize which was valued at £500. I told the company and they told me it was their mistake and to keep it. As long as you inform them then its up to them to sort out collection or to let it go.

No luck for me the guy turned up today and collected the other 2 items, On the plus side i had a surprise win turn up so karma does work
