Theres a website for buying face value tickets called scarletmist. Cant remember the full address but google scarletmist and its the first site. There are none at the moment but if you check regularly you may get lucky!

Have you used them yourself, is it a reputable company?
  • Never used them myself but my fried did and it all went fine. The guy selling the tickets rang her and even brought them to her workplace. The site doesnt actually sell the tickets, it puts you in touch with people who have them to sell. You choose which tickets you would like and enter your details, name and phone number, then the seller will contact you.

Ebay is awash with sets now, prices as high as £400 for 2:eek:

some cheeky sod advertising front row standing:rotfl: with the advice to get there first in the queue to get to the front row:rotfl:

Great to see that most of the sellers for the belfast concert are our money grabbing cousins in England:rolleyes: obviously bought the tickets with no intention of ever using them.

When will promoters start to use a named ticketing system, with photo ID required on the night to confirm entry into the event:cool:

Would of loved to seen Bruce and the E street band but never got tickets online or on the phone and I'm damn sure I'm not gonna line some greedy muppets pockets by buying them second hand;)

Exactly. It angers me when I look at the location of the people selling these tickets. I even spotted someone from America

I was on a website that sells tickets at hightly inflated prices to sold out concerts and I was able to put 30 tickets into my basket:eek: now how does a company get hold of the many tickets . They were charging £285 each for them  .

Obviously I didn't buy them, I just wanted to see out of interest if they had enought of a supply for me to purchase a huge amount, given the fact that if you were able to buy them from Ticketmaster, the max you could have purchased was 4

I still am on the lookout (as are loads of others) if anyone know of anyone selling their ticket, for sensible money please let me know.

    Cheers

Of course, the main problem with that is that it prevents anyone ever getting a surprise present of a concert or show ticket bought to them (like Glastonbury). Even if it was brought in, how hard is it to fake an ID now? I reckon the ticket touts will still find a way around it.
Life in this world is, as it were, a sojourn in a cave. What can we know of reality? For all we can see of the true nature of existence is, shall we say, no more than bewildering and amusing shadows cast upon the inner wall of the cave by the unseen blinding light of absolute truth, from which we may or may not deduce some glimmer of veracity, and we as troglodyte seekers of wisdom can only lift our voices to the unseen and say humbly "Go on, do deformed rabbit again.....it's my favourite". © Terry Pratchett in "Small Gods"

True but if the person booking the tickets (say 4 tickets) use their name and address as booking person the surprise element could still be retained and the 4 people admitted as long as the original booking person is present on the night with their ID. As for forged ID:eek: driving licence, passport or voter ID card should be used as anyone can legally have one of these;)

Just my thoughts on the situation and it would discourage people buying tickets simply to sell on a huge profits;)
