Mortgages for temporary workers

Options
Good evening everybody!

Hopefully someone will be able to offer me some advice.

So my situation is that I've been in the same line of work for the past 5 years not the same job but the same line of work and I've been with my present employer for 10 months will be 12 months in April I have just recently received my second contract extension until the 12th of October this year.

I have approx £15,000-20,000 for a deposit at the moment and the houses I'm looking at are in the region of £65,000-100,000 probably looking to get somewhere around the £80,000 mark.

My gross earnings are £38,000 annually but usually more due to overtime and courses but this isn't guaranteed. Debt wise I have £3600 on car finance and £300 on a credit card which I will be paying off in the near future.

According to Experian my credit rating is fair, so close to being good! So my question is does anybody have any reconmendations for mortgage providers that would likely look at my situation favourably and not charge high interest rates or fees?

Thanks

There's no guarantee the contract for your job will be renewed. Being in the same line of work doesn't matter. Being in stable employment does. Continue to save and build your deposit. As one day you will be in a position to obtain a mortgage.

With that history, and your current contract being renewed I would expect you will be able to find a lender.

Best thing to do is go through a full fact find with a broker to determine the best lender
